Dr Estie Groenewald (Provider) has 26 years of experience in child and family services in the NGO- and Government sector as supervisor and manager. Since 2004-2016 she was involved in student training and mentor supervisor (UNISA and NIHE) as supervisor and tutor for Unisa students in the Northern Cape and Free State
She obtained her MA(SW)Supervision in 1992 and her PhD in supervision in 1996.
Since 2003 she is actively involved in continuing professional development training as a registered service provider at the SACSSP in supervision and management. Since 2003 to date, more than 4 000 social workers and supervisors have been trained in supervision as specialised field in Social work. Training is done exclusively online.
She’s been a member of the SACSSP task team on the development of the regulations of the Act on Social Work on Supervision as Specialised Field since 2018.
